" Annie and Nadia are passionate and caring individuals who are committed to helping clients grow and succeed! "

Annie brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. She has a 20-year career background in social and employment assistance, community development, project coordination and advocating for underrepresented voices.

She is a strategic leader with a strong commitment to community partnerships and service delivery. Annie has been instrumental in the achievement of many successes over the past years and has a track record of excellent front-line community engagement as well as fostering meaningful and lasting relationships with her internal and external stakeholders.

Some of Annie’s most noteworthy accomplishments include her leadership role as the Chair the Health & Wellness Committee, President and Chief Steward of her Union’s local, Advisor of the “I Wanna Feel Good” Conference Steering Committee and Winner of the 2016-17 Rise Award in the category of ‘Connecting and Engaging’.

Annie’s drive for collaboration never ceases and she always brings her enthusiasm and critical thinking abilities to consultations with her colleagues, partners and clients. Outside of work, Annie is happily married, raising two wonderful children and caring for her fur-babies! In her spare time, Annie enjoys a good happy hour with friends, practicing mindfulness, yoga and Zumba and seeking adventure at camp!

Nadia obtained a Bachelors' Degree at Laurentian University and then pursued her studies in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology as a Communicative Disorders Assistant. She then furthered her education as a Registered Massage Therapist and as a Yoga & Pilates teacher.

Nadia truly believes that her career path and her personal development have fully prepared her to be an owner and manager of Plan A—she loves what she does and the person she has become through this experience. What she appreciates most about this journey is her feeling within that she is aligned with her own purpose and being part of a team that serves a “greater purpose”. She feels fulfilled in her responsibility to provide individuals with employment, to support long term care management teams in their mission and honored to be part of a collective leadership group that ensures the wellbeing and loving care of our most vulnerable population.

Jill & Ted Wismer

" Jill and Ted have a wealth of experience in business, nursing, and the LTC sector. "

Jill and Ted have a wealth of experience in business, nursing, and the LTC sector. They have a passion for helping and lending a hand to those in need. They have a young family that keeps them busy running from the arena to the barn, and all points in between. In the summer months, they are avid boaters and enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.

Jill brings an abundance of experience in LTC, having literally “grown up” in the industry. From her childhood memories of visiting her mother’s work and having residents read with her, to her most recent position as an Administrator of a LTC home, Jill has a passion for caring and helping the residents — this has truly been a driving force throughout her career. She began working in the industry as a teenager as a Dietary Aide, and graduated the RPN program at Durham College. She began working in children’s rehabilitation, but found she was missing her calling and needed to return to Long Term Care in the nursing department. She progressed through a variety of roles from RPN, to staff educator, and Co-Director of Care. Jill then moved on to external roles in sales and service of mobility equipment and pharmacy services in the LTC sector. She again missed the hands-on role within the homes and returned to the role of Administrator. She decided to become an owner of Plan A Brampton and Plan A Hamilton after realizing her education, experience and values aligned with the Plan A vision.

Ted began his career working in the corporate world, and worked a variety of roles from recruiting to account management and sales. In 2001 he left the corporate world and ventured on his own into the construction sector. Beginning with small projects, his business progressed into large scale commercial and residential builds throughout Ontario working in partnership with various industry leaders and pioneers. With a solid reputation of providing quality, honesty, and passion in each project, demand grew to a national level with his company having completed projects from Halifax to Edmonton, and all points between. During this time, Ted has successfully navigated through an ever-changing environment with increased emphasis on productivity and health and safety. He has learned that building relationships is sometimes more important than the actual build. Ted looks forward to continue using this notion when building relationships with LTC partners in the Brampton and Hamilton regions.

" We are looking forward to meeting Kingston & Quinte residents, businesses and communities as a whole and bringing support to the long term care homes and facilities that care for our families. "

Sarah Cadorette has been an entrepreneur for over 17 years in both Northern and South Eastern Ontario. She has been recognized by her communities for her leadership, innovation, and thoughtful contributions. Sarah has created many waves of social change to empower a new generation of women in business and trade. She is proudly known for her compassion, musical talents, and sense of humor while also being a certified welder and intellectual autodidact. Sarah contributes her extensive skills and knowledge in business to many new exciting projects in Plan A Kingston & Quinte.

When asked what leadership means to Sarah, here's what she had to say: "Leadership is something that looks different to everyone. It's something that truly depends on the leader, the team and the environment. As a leader, I believe that it's my duty to be aware of my team's needs, their learning or engagement styles, how they can best achieve success in their role and what our business requires. A leader who approaches their team as a coach understands that people are a reservoir of talent that can be further developed.”

Betty Lauzon has been an entrepreneur in a wide range of industries including marketing, management, finance, food, and education. She brings her wealth of knowledge and experience over the last 30 years into a partnership that has helped to create what Plan A Kingston & Quinte is today. Betty's passion for the long term care sector began when she faced a personal situation related to her loved one's declining health. These experiences opened her eye's further as a call to action of what needed and could be done to support a sector where many of our community members and family members reside.

Plan A meets many of the areas Betty feels are important to herself and for the residents and health care professionals. For her, it allows an outlet to share experience, encouragement and provide support to others while working towards making a true positive impact on the long term sector. For the residents, it is working hard to ensure that shifts are filled resulting in care and attention received by those that absolutely deserve it. For the staff, the design of Plan A fits any employee’s dream of being able to choose their own work hours, with a strong focus on work life balance. As an employer she is able to empower her team to pick up shifts that fit their life for the greater health of all parties involved.

Sarah & Rachael Hargan

" We are dedicated to providing superior service to the homes in our areas. Supplying compassionate, experienced and reliable staff to Long Term Care Homes with an emphasis on responsible, solution-based, and proactive customer service. "

Sarah began her Plan A career as an RPN New Grad in 2012. Since that time she has helped to fulfill the Plan A mission to support staffing needs in Long Term Care homes throughout Ontario’s North in the PSW, RPN and RN capacities. Having worked within all three designations, Sarah understands the common ‘bumps’ that come with being an agency nurse and strives to support her staff in their role. Drawing on her knowledge gained in her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Nipissing University, she has an excellent sense of what it takes to be a good fit for the A Team.

Having witnessed her sister's experience working in healthcare, Rachael understands what an incredible need there is for support within Long Term Care. Rachael draws on her administrative experience and education in Communications and Business from Wilfrid Laurier University to provide her clients with a solution-based service, and her staff with a supportive employment opportunity.

Sarah and Rachael have been active members of their community both locally and globally throughout the years. Both women take great pride knowing that their work with Plan A has a truly social impact. They are thrilled to be bringing a long term solution to Long Term Care homes in these regions, as well as to provide local PSWs, RPNs, and RNs with what they truly feel is an unbeatable job opportunity.

Tessa Anderson

" Tessa has seen first-hand the issues that arise as a result of staffing shortages and she is devoted to ensuring that all LTC homes located within the York Region are running at a full staff capacity "

After graduating from the Business Administration – Human Resources program in 2015, Tessa began her professional career with Plan A Health Care Staffing Solutions in Sudbury working as the Recruitment Manager, where she was in charge of hiring all nurses and PSWs in Sudbury and the surrounding areas. Tessa later moved into the role of Solution Sales Specialist with Plan A’s sister company, StaffStat Inc., where she assisted in providing their automated shift-filling solution to LTC homes, community support organizations and hospitals across Ontario. After relocating with her family to a community located in the York Region in early 2018, the opportunity to open a Plan A franchise in the area presented itself and she couldn’t say no.

The experience that Tessa gained while working as a Server for many years taught her to understand how crucial adequate staffing is to a business’ value and success. After working for Plan A and StaffStat, she learned that the LTC sector and the healthcare sector as a whole was no exception to that rule. Tessa has seen first-hand the issues that arise as a result of staffing shortages and she is devoted to ensuring that all LTC homes located within the York Region are running at a full staff capacity, while receiving only the best quality care from the most compassionate and experienced health care professionals.

Being a business owner had always been a dream of Tessa’s, but when she became a mom in August of 2017, it was no longer a dream—it became a goal. Having the opportunity to continue working with the “A Team” while also having the freedom to work around her own schedule and spend more time at home with her family than she would in any other position is truly a dream come true.

Jill & Ted Wismer

Jill and Ted first began their journey with Plan A in 2019 when they opened up a location in Hamilton, and shortly after brought our much-needed strategy to the Brampton region in April 2020. This duo has a wealth of experience in business, nursing, and the LTC sector. They have a passion for helping and lending a hand to those in need.

She began working in the sector as a teenager as a Dietary Aide, and graduated the RPN program at Durham College. She decided to become a Plan A owner after realizing her education, experience and values aligned with the Plan A vision.

Ted looks forward to continue using this notion when building relationships with LTC in Manitoba.
